In Belgium, Marsh is the leading insurance broker and risk advisor. Over 450 professionals located in 4 offices – Brussels, Antwerp, Liège and Roeselare – provide risk management, risk consulting, insurance broking, alternative risk financing and insurance program management services for businesses, public entities, associations, professional services organizations and private clients.

We do not only listen to our clients, we discuss and share views with our clients about risks that strategically impact their businesses. We do not only help them minimize the threats these risks pose but also maximize the opportunities they present. To do this, we develop an intimate understanding of our client’s organization and sector in order to deliver the most appropriate solution. Our history

The roots of Marsh s.a./n.v. date back to the creation of Henrijean in 1881. In 1984 Henrijean became a 100% subsidiary of the US based Marsh & McLennan Companies. Since the merger of Marsh & McLennan Companies with Johnson & Higgins in 1997 and the acquisition of UK based Sedgwick Group – the parent company of the former Belgian broker Thilly Van Eessel – in 1998, the risk management and insurance broking activities in Belgium have been ran under the Marsh s.a./n.v. name. The group is the leading broker in the world.
